Gossip Girl Tour
First up on our list of things to do in NYC and DC for lovers of TV is a tour inspired by the glossy teen drama Gossip Girl. The show looked at a group of elite young New Yorkers; it was based on the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar.
The show – which starred Blake Lively, Peter Badly and Chace Crawford – ran for six seasons and 121 episodes, showcasing some of Manhattan’s most exclusive districts in the process.
You’ll see locations such as the Grand Central Station, featured prominently in the pilot when Blair returns to NYC after her disappearance, and the Vera Wang boutique where she later tries on her wedding gown.
Check out these locations and more on this 3.5-hour bus tour, which departs every Thursday to Sunday at 10am.

48 Hour Hop-on Hop-off Washington, DC Bus Tour
On this cost-effective bus tour, you can see many of the major sights featured in the Netflix smash hit series House of Cards.
Set in modern-day Washington, D. C., the show explores political ambition in the White House, and the opening credits alone feature an array of world-famous structures: the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial among them.
You can see all this and more either from the comfort of the bus or by getting off and exploring at one of 20 stops: these include the Newseum and of course The White House.

You’ll see over 40 locations used in the Sarah Jessica Parker-starring series!
