    A moving portrait of love and grief, Orfeo ed Euridice was composed by Christoph Willibald Gluck. It tells the story of Orpheus, a legend of ancient Greece, and his attempt at saving his late wife from Hades.

    The opera, which dates back to 1762, is sung in Italian with English, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles.
