What is Virtual Reality?
With the help of computer technology, VR-Short for virtual realty, is an immersive experience in which users are teleported into a 3D World. The sense of hearing, touch and vision are stimulated in the interactive world which the computer is the gatekeeper of. The users’ eyes are the guide and every single movement is tracked and the graphics react accordingly.
Who can participate?
Users must be 7+ years old. Some experiences require physical movements.
Are children allowed in VR World?
Children aged 6 years or under are admitted free when accompanied by a full paying adult, but will not be allowed the use
of equipment. Age 7-14 require adult supervision.
Are Strollers Permitted?
No, strollers are not permitted.
How does it work?
Users will wear either an Oculus, HTC Vive, or Samsung Gear headset. Each has a set of different experiences and teleports the user into an artificial world where the limitations are endless. Some experiences are completely hands-free and some require use of controls similar to electronic games.
How Long is each experience?
Depending on the experience, each should last between 5-10 minutes.
Do I need to pay if I am here to just chaperone?
Since VR World is set like museum or an attraction, every individual who wishes to past their admission’s desk has to purchase a ticket, even if deciding not to partake in experiencing VR themselves.
